Summer Activities And Internship Programs

Summers are a critical time for high school students who aspire to attend top colleges. Not only does a well-spent summer give students an opportunity to pursue their interests and passions, but it also enables them to demonstrate their commitment and dedication to their academic and extracurricular pursuits. High schoolers who use their summers wisely can gain a competitive edge in the college application process by showcasing their initiative, creativity, and ability to work independently. Whether it's through internships, research projects, volunteering, or other extracurricular activities, summer experiences can help students stand out from their peers and enhance their chances of gaining admission to their dream colleges.

If you are still looking for an interesting activity for this upcoming summer that can benefit your skill set and resume, there are many options available to you, but time is running out. HS2 Academy offers a variety of activities that can help you make the most of your time off from school. Whether you are looking for an internship, a certificate course, volunteer work, test prep, or classes to prepare for the school year, HS2 Academy has something for you.

At HS2 Academy, we encourage students to think outside the box and pursue their interests. Whether you're interested in honing your skills, building your network, or simply trying something new, we have something to offer. We will continue to have our standardized test preparation courses to get you ready for ACT and SAT test dates in September and October, but our headline offerings this summer 2023 are our two internship programs that are both partnered with George Mason University.

The first program begins in June as a five week Young Astro Scholars Internship that covers Astronomy Data Analysis and Space Research for NASA Missions. The second internship program begins in July and is a Data Analytics For Elite Young Scholars, Biology and Medical Science Experience. These internships consist of on-site lab research, attending the National Students Data Analytics and BioMedical Conference, keynote speakers, access to GMU's observatory, and much more! We are very excited for these programs and can not wait to see how our students enjoy them. Spaces are limited so sign up now and click below to learn more!
